Overview & Highlights
Who doesn’t want to ride to the top of a mountain? This ride delivers a huge quantity of excellent roads through big grassy fields looking and across valleys. The midpoint of the in-and-out ride has a great 270 view of some chillin mountains. Although, the highest point of Quartz Mountain was reachable due to snow when I did the ride in June. The elevation is all smooth and no crazy steep sections. The way out is a particularly excellent section of the ride. Although, the route takes you through an unmaintained section of road that gets very, very rough, requiring me to walk my bike for one steep chunky part. This section doesn’t go on for too long and is worth it for the ridiculously scenic roads on the way back. The rough section can be avoided by exiting the same was as coming in on this course. Overall a very rad ride!

Notes & Hazards
There is water at 6 mi, 25 mi and 26 mi. Like mentioned above, snow blocked from getting to the very top of the mountain. The rough section on the way out is from 41-45 mi. It is extremely rough, but passable with no big problems. The first big stretch is all pavement on this one, which can be skipped as much as preferred.
